Asia'h Epperson Voted Off American Idol - Interview and What's Next for Asia'h?

It was the end of the road for 19 year old Asia'h Epperson on American Idol. Asia'h had one of the most powerful voices on the show and deserved a spot in the 12...even Randy agreed. Asia'h says that the sky is the limit and has big plans to pursue a career in the industry. Here is her interview with Entertainment Weekly after the cut.
WHAT WENT WRONG: You know, there's no telling. One side of me definitely was like, I'm in there. I definitely thought I secured my spot. But then another side of me kind of knew that I was leaving. I thought that it was really, really the placement of the time that I went. I went first and had a very upbeat song. It wasn't the song — I loved the song; it was my personality, it was me all the way. I had the vocals. But I really, really, really truly believe it was going first.
ON TACKLING "BIG DIVA" SONGS FOR PERFORMANCES: It came to my mind that they always say, ''Don't do them.'' He just told me last week, ''Don't mess with those songs.'' But I'm gonna... It was me, you know what I mean? I'm not going to change who I am. I'm just gonna do me. I felt like that song suited me. I think that the vocals were good, but I've sang it better. But I thought my performance [of ''I Wanna Dance With Somebody''] was great, you know? I thought that it was going to put me through, but I knew from the moment they said I was first that I was done. But I still had that little bit of hope, like, Hopefully they didn't forget about me!
ON A NEW CAREER: I want to be so major, you don't even know! Singing is not the end for me. I've always done everything. I'm a busybody. I love just to do different things. So, it goes to everything for me — acting, modeling, TV shows, I mean, anything! Fashion lines! I want to be like a Jennifer Lopez or a Beyoncé, someone who is like an entrepreneur or queen of all media!
ON CONTEMPORARY MUSICAL INFLUENCES: I love country music because I'm a country girl! As I started getting older, I started listening to R&B music, and that's where my heart fell. So you would have heard me sing Joss Stone, Alicia Keys, Keyshia Cole, and Mary J. Blige. Even though Mariah Carey is my idol and I love her more than anybody in this freakin' world, but I don't try to sing her songs!
DID YOU HEAR THE SONG "TOUCH MY BODY?": Of course! Love it! Love her! It's awesome, I love her [Mariah Carey]. And I'm so upset I don't get to meet her this year. This was going to be my time — you don't understand!
